From description to report, in four steps
You describe your part
Material, geometry and goal: bonding, painting, printing or anti-fog. A photo or a datasheet helps.

We confirm feasibility
An expert qualifies your case and tells you plainly if plasma is not the right answer.

You ship your parts
To our lab in Quebec City. The shipping address and packing instructions are sent with the confirmation.
You receive a report
Plasma parameters applied, characterization results and a recommendation for integrating the treatment into your line.
What we measure on your parts
Surface energy
Measured with calibrated test inks (ISO 8296, ASTM D2578), in mN/m. You know whether the surface exceeds the level your adhesive, paint or ink requires.
Contact angle
Where relevant, a water droplet placed before and after treatment. The lower the angle, the better the liquid spreads.
Process parameters
Gas, power, distance and speed are recorded. These are the settings that are then reproduced on your line.
Integration recommendation
The equipment that fits your part and your throughput: torch, curtain, cell or custom reactor.
What to send us
Parts that represent your production, in the state they reach the bonding or painting step. Not parts cleaned for the occasion: the result has to hold on your line.
Include what lets us reproduce your real conditions:
- The exact material grade, and its additives if you know them
- The step after treatment: adhesive, paint, ink or coating, with its datasheet
- Your pass criterion: peel test, cross-cut test or ageing resistance
- Your line speed and the area to treat, to size the equipment
Quantities, dimensions and lead times
Recommended number of parts: [x]. Maximum accepted dimensions: [y] mm.
Report turnaround: [z] weeks. Return of parts: [x].
Test on your own line before you buy
After the lab trial, some equipment can be rented for validation on your own line: the compact plasma torch, the plasma curtain and the turnkey treatment cell.
You judge the process in your real conditions, with your operators, before deciding to buy.
Your questions about testing
Is treating my samples free?
The first evaluation is: the review of your case and the feasibility opinion are free, with no commitment. For the qualification sample treatment that follows: [x].
How fast will I get an answer?
An expert replies within 48 business hours of your request, with a first feasibility opinion.
Do my parts and data stay confidential?
Yes. Your parts, your datasheets and the description of your process do not leave our team. A non-disclosure agreement can be signed before any technical exchange, on request.
Do you accept parts from the United States?
Yes. The lab is in Quebec City, Canada, and the service is open to manufacturers in Canada and the United States.
Does treating my parts require a vacuum chamber?
No. Our equipment works at atmospheric pressure, using DBD (dielectric barrier discharge) technology: no vacuum chamber, no pumping, no solvent. That is what makes continuous treatment on your line possible afterwards.
What if plasma does not suit my part?
We tell you at the evaluation stage, before you ship anything. Atmospheric plasma does not treat cavities it cannot reach, and it does not replace degreasing when contamination is thick.
What happens after a successful trial?
We propose the right configuration and a quote: toll treatment in our facility, standard equipment or a custom reactor. A standard reactor is delivered in about 1 to 3 months.
